Aspiring writer, lifestyle blogger, and absurdly awkward introvert currently trying to navigate her 30s. One of the best things I’ve learned since entering said 30s is that I have not only the right, but the responsibility, to prioritize my own well-being (physically, mentally and financially). Not just because no one else will do this for me, but because it’s empowering to take charge of your own life and happiness! I’m a firm believer in continuous learning and self-improvement. I am not deterred by doing my own research, and will devour any resource I can get my hands on. I supplement this with getting professional advice when needed. The purpose of my blog? Partly to organize my thoughts, partly to fill a creative void that’s in my current life….But, mostly, to share what I’ve learned. It’s cheesy, but if I can even indirectly inspire people to make a positive change, or better cope with life’s challenges, I’m going to call that as a success. You can almost always count on me to put a quirky, sarcastic flair to my articles, which will hopefully make them a little more fun to digest.
P.S. You may notice that this blog will avoid giving too many identifying details, and doesn’t include any personal photos. While I would love to be more open with readers, I have the type of job that restricts me a little bit. I wish I could say it was something important or high-profile. In reality it’s just a garden variety job. But, it is a little more politically sensitive than most, requiring us to keep a pretty big separation between personal and professional. Which is cool…I suppose…For now 😉
